Hunger has no party. So why does the hunger debate?

On Wednesday, Daily Bread Food Bank hosts the Beaches—East York by-election debate on poverty and the cost of living — and has banned 2 of the 6 candidates on your ballot from the stage, including the PPC's Michel Lachance.

Their rule — no seat in Parliament, no microphoneis required by no law. No such rule applied at their own University—Rosedale debate in March. And this is a debate about food prices: every candidate allowed on stage defends supply management, the system that inflates the price of milk, eggs and poultry. The one candidate who would end it? Banned.

Tell Daily Bread: seat all six. It takes 60 seconds.

Then do two more things:

  1. Grab a free seat at Wednesday's debate — 7 PM, 72 Main St, Toronto. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Register free here.
  2. Meet Michel outside 72 Main St from 6 PM — before and after. They can keep him off the stage — but they can't keep him off the sidewalk!

Authorized by the Official Agent for Michel Lachance.
